The St. Luke (Brighton) Primary School is the name given to the amalgamated St. Luke's Boys and St. Luke's Girls Schools. The amalgamation took place on 10th September 1979 under the leadership of the late Miss Golda Cheltenham.
Forever striving for Improvement.
The goal of the St. Luke's (Brighton) Primary School is to provide a learning environment in which students are provided with the opportunity to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and values for living and contributing positively to the Barbadian society and the world in general.
We seek to do this through a curriculum which embraces computation and literacy, creativity, sports, team work, self-discipline, social graces, self-reliance, self-esteem, respect for God, self and others.
We build our school on Thee O Lord
To Thee we bring our common need
The loving heart the helpful word
The tender thought, the kindly deed
With these we pray, Thy spirit may
Enrich and bless our school always.
We work together in Thy sight
We live together in Thy love;
Guide Thou our faltering step aright
And lift our thoughts to Heaven above
Dear Lord we pray, Thy Spirit may
Be present in our school always.
We change but Thou art still the same
The same good master, teacher, friend
We change but Lord we bear Thy name
To journey wiht us to the end
And so we pray Thy Spirit may
Be present in our school always.
