Dear ancient home of by-gone days,
In foliage lush reclining,
Now houses halls of youthful souls,
Our gladsome voices ringing.
We strive for excellence sublime,
We meet from day to day,
And fight for better things to come,
In work, in rule, in play.
A virile nation we would build
For all the world to see,
And when we leave these portals wide
Still work with energy,
The lives of great ones gone before,
Heroes of this fair land,
Will keep us mindful evermore,
Of heritage so grand!
Our sons and daughters'll pass this way
Our light for them must shine,
And in their souls a greater light,
Will glow with flame divine.
To richer things then let's aspire,
As dawn gives way to noon
And we and they in grand refrain,
Ascend to heights unknown!
